Hi I am Tim Beaumont ZK1SDE.

I was born in England in May 1967. I live in the City of Coventry in Great Britain. I work as a postal worker in England and my passion for travel just keeps bringing me back to this paradise in the Pacific Ocean.

I am the poor sole who had to build this site, and I didnt even get an invite to go!
On a serious note, I joined Tim in November of 2001 on his first trip to the wonderful island of Aitutaki and can honestly say yes I am very very jelous that I cannot make the return trip this year!
I will be in charge of the upkeep of this page, this includes logbook updates as and when Tim (KEN) is able to send them to me via email.

M1DCV - Mr Matthias McBride (Marti)

Marti is a vital member of the team, his job is to develop, build and test all of our antenna equipment that we will be using in the Cook Islands. Marti was born 18/7/74, and lives in the City of Coventry in England, has been licensed since 1991. Prefers to build than buy.......enjoy the challenge of it all.

ZK1WET / SM6WET - Magnus and YL Anki

Licensed since 1996. Magnus has spent a lot of time on VHF and used to weak signal work, this will ensure to get some week station in the log as Magnus likes to dig in the pile up's. Magnus will be active on SSB, CW and RTTY, occasionally Magnus will also activate PSK31. There have been enquiries about SSTV but Magnus is not used to this mode but might take on a few skeds pending equipments. Magnus will put his empathizes on 17,20,40,80 and top band. Magnus has been portable from quite many locations in the past although never a major DX-Expedition he has been radioactive from among many others OH0, HB0, 3A, T9, 5B, ZC4. He has also activated a few IOTA's in his home country Sweden. Magnus likes contesting a lot and will activate his call in the CQ WW RTTY WPX Contest from Cook Islands. He is also eager to teach the other members of the group more about digital operations.

ZK1XMY / SM6XMY - Tomas and YL Pirjo

Tomas has been licensed since 1999 and has activated a few IOTAs but no major DX-Expedition.
Will put his empathizes in SSB mode but digital operations may occur.
